Due to low surface tension and insolubility in water, tributyl phosphate can be used as an industrial defoamer to effectively make the formed foam film in an unstable state and quickly defoam. The defoamer containing tributyl phosphate is characterized by high content, low cost compared with general adjuvants, good cost performance, and no influence on the transparency and chemical reaction of products. It has good heat resistance and diffusivity, and has surprising effect on some impenetrable bubbles.
